Can't get game to load past the play screen. Are there some technical difficulties?

Hi @MsQuanda and welcome to our adorable Community 😊 I am sorry this is happening to you. We can not always rely on technology as it is fragile and sometimes just doesn't behave. I will give you some troubleshooting steps to try and hopefully it will solve your issue. Please note that the last option is to reinstall the game and if you do so you will lose all the boosters you collected. Here is the link to troubleshooting steps.
