Hello @Spinnifix. I know a little German. My girls are the ones who studied it in school. But I am definitely not a fluent speaker. I can appreciate the challenges of trying to communicate in another language that isn’t your native tongue. Having just spent 7 weeks working in Peru and speaking almost no Spanish, I found Google translate became my best friend. 😆😊🐨

Yes, it can not be otherwise. Only the translations do not always work well.

Sometimes I just had to cross my fingers and hope the reader understands what I’m trying to say. I was working with a local moving company and had to use Google translate for my emails. I just hoped that my overall intent was being translated and that the movers understood. Of course I then had to translate their responses back into English. It can be a bit time consuming but at least it helps us communicate with each other and helps bridge the gap. 😊💕🐨

@DeepshikhaSharan I don't know Hindi, just a little bit of Sanskrit but that's mostly terms from my yoga practice 🧘🏻‍♂️
  • @bearwithme @Spinnifix That's true. During the year in China, my best friends were translating apps. In China Google and all its apps are banned so you need to use something else 😅 Anyway, tons of Chinese don't know a word in English except for "hi" and "bye" so it was really challenging to learn to communicate. But at the end of it all, I am really grateful I had an experience like that cause it taught me how to think out of the box.

Yes, Marko especially for you. That is: not with the translated, because there is no Serbian. I typed it only in Google. These are Russian letters. Since we had to learn Russian in the GDR.
  • @Spinnifix It's Cyrillic like in Russian. The Serbian language uses Cyrillic letters too.

I'll hear that for now. That there is something synonymous. Slovenian is also something like that.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
