πππ Happy Bee Day πππ
The brain of bees is highly developed.π
Bees are intelligent animals. The brain of bees allows them to identify certain particular shapes and colors. The most amazing thing is the way the swarms organize themselves inside the hive. The construction of hexagonal cells follows a truly sophisticated architectural model worthy of a very marked intelligence for such small insects. Bees are also skilled calculators and are able to learn and process even reasoning of a certain complexity. π

A very belated but heartfelt happy World Bee Day!!
Sorry for this late entry @DieOmimi, I only started playing at Blossom Blast on wednesday this week... and I got incredibly hooked! π€©
Bees have been around for a long time, more than 100 million years! Beekeeping was initially organised by the ancient Egyptians, from around 2,500 BCE. People there believed bees to be the tears of the sun God, Ra.
3,000 year old honey was found in King Tutankhamunβs tomb when it was opened ... and was still edible! (@me6412 π)
My garden is not maintained in the traditional sense. I do not plant flowers, I let nature decide which will arrive in my lawn and grow. This has generated many nice surprises such as these blue knapweeds last summer π
