What mobile and OS do you have? Might also be wroth checking how much free memory you have left on it as that can have an impact.

You've listed Facebook connection, shouldn't you be resetting your password from Facebook instead?

You can't lose progress as long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will be saved and synced to it. I'm looking but I don't see any posts that mention version 1.74.3. other than yours so far. How long ago were they posted? Which iPad and OS do you have installed exactly? Generally with any app, if you have issues after an update, the next thing to do is uninstall and install from fresh.

As long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will be saved and synced to it. If you did, when you reconnect to that account in the game again, the progress from the point where it was last synced will come up.

If the game keeps crashing then first check for any available updates, if that doesn't sort it out then reinstalling should likely do the trick.
