Have done the forced hard reboots that King always recommend when their games crash, but the number of users registering the same problem would suggest it's the update rather than my iPad. Think the King responses to this issue are a cop-out!

If you search around this site you will see lots of issues regarding the crashing of this game recently. Just because I have tied it to the latest update does not invalidate the issue posted!
I'm looking but I don't see any posts that mention version 1.74.3. other than yours so far. How long ago were they posted?
Which iPad and OS do you have installed exactly? Generally with any app, if you have issues after an update, the next thing to do is uninstall and install from fresh.
