Keep getting error message when connecting to BWS3 shop

I actually have about 128 gold bars but cannot connect to the Bubble Witch Saga 3 shop. I can't buy boosters or continue a game. Or buy extra lives even though I have gold bars. I keep getting a message saying sorry shop is offline. I am running Android and definitely have a wifi connection. Please help.

Edit: Also wanted to add to the above question that I've been playing for a month or so with no issues. This problem only started about three days ago. Before that I've always been able to connect. And I haven't changed any settings for the game or my wifi connection.
