It can be difficult to get the right colors to make a group and change the colors of the clone bubbles, especially that first one!

Be patient and keep trying. 

Some tricks that might help are to only concentrate on the color in the middle of the webs and whatever bubbles you can match that are highest in the game.

Once you see the top then collect any owls that are left on the board.

Also, remember that if you do not have the right color you can send the bubble to Nero's orb. Four bubbles will make a mega bubble that destroys everything!
