No Lantern or other challenges

I play BubbkeWitch3 on an iPhone. My friend plays on an Android. He gets “Lantern Challenges” and tournaments and Crowns for winning challenges on the first try. I never get those options even though I have played almost daily for over a year and have updated the app.

Our Game Studios are constantly adapting our games by introducing and testing new features, gameplay or concepts.
This means that before releasing these kind of new features, they always choose a randomly-selected group of players to trail the feature and see how they react to it.
This way, they can look closely at how the change has been viewed and decide if it's something they want to permanently implement in the game or not.
I understand that this may be frustrating, but rest assured I've let the Studio know that you're eager to get these features too! I'd love to be able to add it to your game but I'm afraid that is not in my power
Hopefully everyone will have access to this new and exciting challenge soon!
