Crashes on startup and never gets past king logo, older version works fine

Something in the latest update seems to be responsible for the crash. Already tried everything including a reformatting of phone, it's traced to the app itself.

Last working version is the one year anniversary version.

Please clear cache and cookies on your device and make sure the latest App/Game version is installed. 

If the problem persists, please let me know what platform and device you're playing from. A screenshot would be very helpful as well.

This is for Android, already tried device reset, numerous reinstalls, caches cleared, no love.Ironically, when I put in an old apk of the game it runs fine.Android Jellybean; Starmobile Diamond X1.
