On behalf of team Asia, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our great and patient moderator, the one and only @johamilton for doing a great job organizing this team contest.
Thank you to Team North America - spokesperson @rebelchild and Team Europe - spokesperson @maf34100 for making this contest a great success.
Yes, it was fun for me and I hope all had a great time participating in this contest.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2023 to Team North America and Team Europe from Team Asia.🎄⛄️🎄⛄️
Thanks to everyone that joined in and I really appreaciate the Team leaders @Anahita_2005 , @rebelchild and @maf34100. The 3 of you did an excellent job keeping up with the team and keeping me updated on changes.
Remember everyone will receive their own team badge
So here we go with the winners ~ Drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁
Congratulations to Team Europe for having the highest score. You will receive the World Team Champions badge and 30 Gold Bars 💰️
2nd place Team North America will receive 6 Boosters each and 20 gold bars
3rd place Team Asia will receive 4 Boosters each
I do hope everyone had a fun time and thanks to @LeFlarcane idea and @Bellamy32 adding a little twist to the contest. I am loving all of your ideas. Please keep them coming
Also, since we do not have PM's, how did you all like the idea of having your own thread for your team to talk? Do you think this is something we can try again for team tournaments?
And as always, we have the problem of members signing up and then not following thru. I try my best to make sure that they understand that if you sign up, please follow thru. Of course we will always have a few times that life just happens and it is not their fault.
Thank you @johamilton for a very exciting contest and to @LeFlarcane and @Bellamy32 for the ideas.
It was extremely useful to have our own team threads, as we didn't have to scroll through to find posts relating to our team. I do think that, in the absence of PMs, it is the best available solution.
I know it's difficult when players sign up and don't contribute. Perhaps there should be a set deadline for checking in and, until the deadline, the responsibility for chasing players should be left with the Team Leaders, who have all done a great job in this contest. Once someone has checked in, I believe it should be understood that they will be participating.
Congratulations to Team Europe and Team North America.
One of our members failed to post a score for Team Asia so like @johamilton mentioned above if you sign up, please follow thru and inform your team leader early if you cannot participate.
To my fellow teammates, THANK YOU for being part of Team ASIA😍
@Anahita_2005 @Palash_Sarma @Amoonmoon @siti_payung @LeFlarcane @kiara_wael l
@wykoon @teeweiping @PD987 and @Purplelife_50
Thank you @johamilton for hosting a great contest and thanks to @LeFlarcane nd @Bellamy32 for their idea.
Thank you @johamilton for a great contest. It was innovative to use geography to determine teams and helped create better balance in the teams. I want to give special recognition to the North America team leader @rebelchild for her outstanding coordination of the team and frequent communication and encouragement. I know how much time and effort it took to keep us well informed and motivated. Kudos to her and the rest of my teammates: @Princess_Jessica @bearwithme @angiegritz @MiladyR @gordan10 @Gisa77 @sambrat @Sharon3211 @JDM_BenZ and @EOTheGr8.
I definitely think this format should be considered for more team competitions.
Many thanks @johamilton for a very fun team competition! Congratulations to Team Europe and well done Team Asia!
A very special thank you to @rebelchild for keeping Team North America on track and a big congratulations and thanks to the rest of team North America!
Happy holidays to all 3 teams and wishing everyone a 2023 filled with hope, peace, love and joy!
