"No Connection" when trying to connect with windows app

Since quite a while I'm unable to connect with the game on my Windows 10 machines.
I only find hints to log in with Facebook or eMail instead of using Google. I never used Google, but always logged in with eMail.

There isn't even a chance to log in anywhere in the first place. When trying to connect it only tells "No connection" ("Keine Verbindung" in german) and only the [Okay!] Button appears.

No chance to access my levels which are available on IOS just fine.

What's wrong there and how to fix this?

    Hi @wurzel17 and I am sorry to hear that you are getting this connection issue with your Windows game app.

    Could you please follow the steps described on this page to fix any problems with our game app from Microsoft Store and let me know if the steps do not resolve your issue. Additionally please follow:

    • Sign in to your Microsoft account
    • Make sure Windows has the latest update: select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If there is an available update, select Install now.
    • Update Microsoft Store: Select the Start button, and then from the apps list, select Microsoft Store. In Microsoft Store, select See more > Downloads and updates > Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.
    • Repair or reset the game app
    • Run the troubleshooter: Select the Start button, and then select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.

    Thank you for the hints. Today I already noticed the update method using the microsoft store, which I didn't use for some time. It worked with my laptop computer, where I'm using the microsoft account directly. There the update wasn't even necessary, which was performed with my main Windows computer. There I only attached the one drive instead and I'm logging in with a local account, But I still don't get the access after the update there.

    I am simply slightly anxious to lose my levels. But since those are saved within the King account and I see them on my other devices, it should be save to reset the local data? Right?

    Hi, yes, there is nothing to worry about since as you mentioned as you have access on other devices they are backed up with our servers so it will not be lost, so you can safely perform the reset. Keep in mind that only thing that may be affected are your saved lives and boosters which these are saved locally independently on each device.

    The reset of the app was successful from "apps and features". 👍 Network connection reestablished and logged in with email.
