Progress lost on Windows

Hello,
my mother is playing Bubble Witch 3 and today she complained that her progress is lost. She is playing on Windows. I tried to locate the progress on the hard drive and I found some files level-xxx.json. But there are in the cache folder and they all been changed after starting the game. I did not found the folder where the progress is saved.
Can someone explain what happened here? She did not change anything on her computer.

Hi Christopher @cuchulainn and welcome to our adorable Community 😊 I am sorry this happened to you and your mom. I hope her game was connected to Facebook or King account. If so, just follow the link below and you will see how to get her progress back.

unfortunately she did not connect to Facebook or anything else. She played the game only on her local machine. Then I think she has lost the games. But how can they be deleted?
Then she has to connect to king if she starts the game new.

Hi @cuchulainn If you you really read thru the link that our superstar @firebombmarkus gave you on the last ‘here’ ( with the green highlight ) you’ll find a form to fill up to contact our developer to retrieve her progress :) and for the future reference always connect your game to either King or Facebook to save your game progress :)

Hi @cuchulainn As our friend @mysticalmysty said there is an option to fill in support form. If you can't find it, here is the link https://soporto.king.com/contact
Please note that once you fill in the form you will receive an automated email. You need to reply to this mail and write your issue in order for them to contact you. If you don't answer that mail, they will not contact you. I hope you will successfully get her progress back. Keep crushing 🍭
