Game stop after the Ghost moves to new location and then I can't see anything except a white screen

Question

After the last update I can no longer play Bubble Witch Saga 3.  The game opens when I click its icon but after the Billy screen it locks up with a white screen and the normal game cannot be played!  I have to close the app the get out of it.  I don't want to lose my progress by reinstalling.   What's the problem and how do I fix it?
