They replied saying no one else has reported the issue before! It started about 10 months ago for me.

I thought might be the phone because I had a problem with the volume control, Apple replaced the everything but the shell and camera of the phone, but it made no difference to the sound cutting out on those two games.

It only happens on iPhone 13 mini.
