Note that sometimes boxes made between Wednesday and Friday contain only Level options for the last task, forcing that box to expire as new Levels won't come at the time it would expire. I've hit that a few times but not recently.

Old levels don't count. Star Tournament counts, however.

To avoid expiring, you can at least close a box with boosters on Saturday and one with levels on Wednesday, if possible for you.

Unfortunately the new box changes are not available to those at the end of the map because the 2nd task mostly has color collections in new level wins and Star Tournament won't progress them.
