thanks for ruining a great game. Strategy is gone.
While you have a point on this one, I'm a 2012 player actually.
I started CCS at the year it was released at first on Facebook and then on Mobile (Android mainly, but for a brief period in 2018 to 2019 also on iOS/iPadOS/Apple within an iPad) and Windows.
In the 2010s, I played it a lot, with its peak being during the mid-2010s as in the late 2010s, activity was slighty decreased but played it at a decent rate still due to the fact that I played it less likely on Android compared to Windows. Progress was frozen at early 1000s
In the early-2020s, I stopped playing CCS for an unknown reason but it strangely appeared on my Android device circa 2023 though I didn't opened the app at all.
However, I restarted playing it beginning 2025, starting with a very brief period on Windows and then on Android (Tablet first, then phone). However, until Spring 2025, I've always took large breaks instead of constantly playing it every day.
A few months after I started playing constantly (About the same time Petal Peril came), I've slowly moved the progression of the game from Android to Windows, initially playing new levels on both platforms with the latter ones being used for CCS again after the brief January 2025 period. Later, with a few small exceptions, progression was done exclusively on Windows but still used Android for old levels and minor exceptions (Like playing one Episode on Android because I got Gold Rush after I finished the afternoon gameplay on Windows and at the time I returned to my Windows Laptop to play again I had 1 hour left to finish the event, forcing me to play 15 new levels on Android as well).
Since November 2025, where I've finished the levels, I play every Wednesday afternoon the New Levels on Windows and then I focus on Star Tournament as much as I can on both Android and Windows.
I don't plan to quit CCS as I still want to see how the game will progress on Development (New levels, events etc.)
candy crush 2012 and candy crush since 2020 are entirely different games
