What to do when the screen goes grey?

I sent a life to a friend and then my gamescreen went grey. I cant do a thing... 
what to so??

Have you followed the troubleshooting steps, like clear cache and cookies and make sure the App is up to date? If so, what device are you playing on? Would you be able to add a screenshot please?
