I updated the app and it said there was a new “trail of treats” along with other things, but my game is still the same as before it updated. When will I see what was described in the update?
Hello @Stephanie_C. and a very warm welcome to our friendly community. The one thing you can definitely be sure of in Candy Crush Friends is there is always a new event just around the corner. However if it's a big event, they usually wait until the current event is over before starting a new one, so just continue enjoying the game and the next event will be here before you know it.

Hi and welcome, I have not seen it on candy crush Friends yet but on Candy crush saga there is a new feature where the bubblegum troll leaves boosters / sweet treats along the way if you catch him. I had this yesterday when i caught him he left me a booster and got to catch him 4 times before he disappeared. So maybe the same feature may be coming to this game
