- you might want to start with extra move(s)
- the first blaster may be the most important ... take extra time on the first move
- consider using the quit button until you get a 7 letter word on the first move
- try to make a blaster on every turn at the start
- dropping the first chunk is important - after a few turns one or two chunks may have weak rocks
- avoid dropping every chunk onto the rocks ... almost certain doom
- select a couple of weak rocks to go after first ... concentrate on the weak rocks whenever possible
- entanglers are your friends ... leave some entanglers until at least one chunk has dropped
- try to aim blasters at the codices early in the game

- as with most cheesy plate levels ... try to use blasters instead of breaking rocks
- this level forces you to use blasters
- consider using barney here ... use 3 golds to multiply the points for a word by 8 ... use 4 golds to multiply the points for a word by 16
- start breaking rocks along the diagonal for plate #1 ... removing one or two may suffice
- be patient ... several moves are required to remove some rocks
- approach ... early and mid game - break rocks ... mid and late game - blasters
- note ... a 4-way diagonal blaster in the center will hit all of the plates

- make crowns ... but leave the upper 8 codices alone ... keep the gold tiles in the smallest possible area
- took quite a few tries to figure that out - betty would cram 4 golds into a corner that weren't usable, and she gives plenty of letters if you never touch those corners so you're free to continue
- getting rid of the rocks in the center helps too, but try hard to make 4 letter words for crowns to make golds
- wait until you get favorable boards - the old score appeared beatable by a large margin, and it was
- for the record ... Vincent's new score ... 101,332
- go after the codices at the lower part of the board early in the game ... then start working on the first mystery word
- it will take several moves before the gold tiles fall toward the lower part of the board

- one approach is described here ... there may be many other ways to attack this level
- a good start ... a vertical blaster below a chunk
- a better start ... vertical blasters below both chunks
- ideal start ... the blasters are 4-way or 8-way
- try to drop the first cheese within 3 moves(not at important with 22 moves)
- you may need to use the quit button several times to make a blaster on the first move
- save some crowns for the end to hit tiles directly below a chunk
- if you are lucky ... when a trap obstructs tiles below a chunk ... you will be able to play tiles around the other chunk
- an early shuffle is okay ... try to save a shuffle for the last few moves
- 18550 will get 2 stars ... 21110 3 stars

- the move stealers on the left blow up in 4 & 5 moves ... try to blast these
- the move stealers on the right blow up in 8 & 9 moves
- there are enough moves for this level to remove the rocks below the move stealers on the right

- save crowns for the last few moves to hit isolated tiles

- there are enough moves for barney ... when you get a blaster or two right away
- if you are lucky, you can make blasters with the codices right away
- some codices may drop harmlessly to the bottom
- try to save any crowns for the last few moves
- crowns that are blasted add to a word's length AND most are returned to the board
- the best way to make a longer word is by blasting crowns as opposed to having crowns in the shorter word
