- try to create a crown whenever a blaster cannot be created
- try to maximize the hits on magnets and traps when playing a blaster
- try to save crowns for the 8-letter words, if possible
- the entangler in the upper left corner prevents tiles from dropping down the far left column
- crowns that are blasted will lengthen a word ... AND most are returned to the board

- try to leave only one letter below middle cheese asap ... helps letters flow
- try to hit 2 of the 3 lower rocks with one move, whenever possible
- leave vines alone early until all of the early hits on the rocks are exhausted
- end game approach when all chunks are atop a rock ... use crowns to hit the rocks

My modus operandi - don't bother playing boards that don't provide a good opening move.
Gregg: My take on 398 – If you don’t have an opening move that lets you hit a letter next to a magnet AND hit a bottom rock, or make a line blaster that can hit a bottom rock, don’t bother playing the board

- the magnets will hold crowns ... no urgent need to hit the magnets early
- some crowns will hit the single rocks in the corners
- the 4 middle rocks are not a high priority ... they might go away while blasting vital targets
- if you keep getting close you might try an artifact with extra move(s)

- this level is beatable using small words
- the 3rd codex down has cheese spread at the start ... try to spread cheese and hit a lower rock on the first move
- the move stealers blow up in 5 6 7 & 8 moves
- early and mid-game targets ... the rocks
- the upper right magnet and the upper right entangler will prevent tiles from flowing down the rightmost column
- a horizontal blaster that hits the upper magnet is an early priority that will help open up the board
- depending on the board ... the upper right rock or the lower left rock can remain at the end
- one ideal blaster ... try to get one diagonal blaster to hit the lower rock and the upper magnet
- save some crowns for the end to get any remaining stragglers
- 17083 will get 2 stars ... 17750 3 stars
