Many different cultures came up with the idea of unicorns independently. Most of the legends differed in some distinctive ways. For example, theΒ Chinese unicorn, the Qilin, has the body of a lion or deer. They all share the common feature of the horn, however.
The Good News Is Unicorns Were Real. The Bad News Is They Were Hideous!
Tens of thousands of years ago, unicorns did in fact, exist. In real life, the Siberian unicorn looked more like a giant, hairy rhino than a horse. It fed its six-and-a-half-foot, four-ton frame by eating lots of grass.
