Why do I keep getting signed out of game contests and events

Play Candy Crush Saga, am on level 6337

Lately, my game will freeze while I am in the middle of one of the "extra events", where you can load up on lollipop extras. Then when I log out and log back in…it is gone and it is usually awhile before another comes up. This is getting frustrating.

Hi @Mr_Fishy I'm really sorry about that. Yes, we currently have a bug that only affects Windows users. Windows users currently have no events, or the events are only visible briefly and disappear during the next session. We all have to wait until this is fixed.

I'm sorry your events are disappearing. Are you referring to the Bubblegum Troll event? Are you playing on a Windows device?

Any and all events, including bubblegum…it just decides it is over and I have to play for a week with no bonus games.

I am on level 6300 and this didn't happen until recently.

Where do I find my Game ID and how to I check the game version? If I change the version will I lose my progress? If I play on an Apple iPad will it affect the game on Windows? I am at level 2043

You can find your current game version in your store. Search for the game in your store and click on the game icon. Sometimes you have to scroll a bit to get to the information. Here's an example from the Microsoft Store on Windows:
