As @flew66 mentioned, the game itself does not offer Gold Bars as rewards but did you you have chances to win Gold bars through the Community?

Welcome to the CCFS Community! Unfortunately Gold Bars cannot be won in the Friends Saga game. The stars earned from completing the levels are converted to gold bars and kept in the piggy bank. However, the gold bars are not free. The piggy bank is a way to buy the gold bars at discounted price.
On the other hand, there are always some contests going on in the community that you can participate and win free gold bars. You can find the links to the contests at the top of the General Discussion page. Good luck!
