Keep/ Being Back Private Messaging!

Hi everyone,

I think it is very unfair that King is restricting private messaging to its Community Managers (CMs) and its moderators (volunteers). Since, it makes it easier for the CMs to have control, as it takes away our privacy, which can be upsetting for many people.

I decided to put it to a vote so the CMs can see how many people want the private message function and are upset and/ or frustrated by this decision. (Unfortunately the general community area does not have an ideas section so I placed the thread, here, in the Friends sub-community.)

Hi @Erika0811 and all the other players. The ideas area is for ideas that should improve the game Candy Crush Friends. This thread has nothing to do with the game CCFS. I shall therefore close it.

I use my phone so apps are the obvious option for me but you went to their website it should tell you whether or not you can login through the website.

I agree with you completely KC and that is why I am upset that they removed the PM function completely instead of upgrading it for obvious reasons (like lack of storage for example, which can be solved by automatically deleting messages every 30-60 days).

I understand the need for the GM and cm to be able to pm members if the technical issues are such that banning regular members from pm use is a necessity.

@Erika0811 I can't download any more apps. Can you use discord with out having to download it?

I understand what you mean @rebelchild. One of the reasons that the COTR community is so quiet a lot of the time is that a lot of its remaining players use the discord forum. Perhaps discord could be a solution for you. 🤗

I don't want to see other people's private messages nor do I want them to see any I might have.

@Erika0811 I completely agree. This move is pretty stupid if you ask me. What they should’ve done was do something where they remove old PMs that haven’t been used in 30 days or so, “but no let’s just remove the whole feature from the players.” 🙄

Lately it's one change after another and made already players quite upset and now this!!

Isn't their moto "relax and enjoy" or something like that...gowing down the drain... venting...

My friends team created a pm to be able to communicate since there is no game chat feature. Now it will be gone

@sharkeymw your description is correct. I have to add that the "go to featue" is not working for me and for @MollyS . We have raise the issue to the moderator and it was transfer to studio. The issue is not resolved yet.
