Keep/ Being Back Private Messaging!

Hi everyone,

I think it is very unfair that King is restricting private messaging to its Community Managers (CMs) and its moderators (volunteers). Since, it makes it easier for the CMs to have control, as it takes away our privacy, which can be upsetting for many people.

I decided to put it to a vote so the CMs can see how many people want the private message function and are upset and/ or frustrated by this decision. (Unfortunately the general community area does not have an ideas section so I placed the thread, here, in the Friends sub-community.)

If you would like to keep/ bring back private messaging please vote here!

Thank you @Erika0811 for your efforts. I voted in favor of pm but I think the decision is already made. It is up to us to find a new place to communicate. I for one love being a part of this community and am heartbroken over this new change to come about.

I voted @Erika0811, but as this is a server issue doubt we'll have much say about it. I, too, will miss the ability to communicate privately with friends 😕

I voted, though I'm not convinced it will do any good. The studio appears to have made up their minds based on the comment on the other thread by FluffyDinosaur. Frankly CCFS has plenty of issues that get in the way of making the game one good for 'community' activities. Sending lives to friends doesn't work properly, nor does the request/receiving. I've not received a single life from a friend in probably 2 months now, though I used to receive one on and off up until a couple of months ago. There is no way to add friends in the game .. not to choose the friends you want to add, I mean. There is no way to add friends in the community either, the only mechanism that I knew of used the king.com website and that mechanism was taken away months ago with nothing done to replace it. There is no chat in the game at all.

Given this lack of support for any sort of community activity in CCFS in game and the removal of the ability to speak privately with friends here in the 'community' .. I have about zero trust in the studio to give us something that will properly replace the ability they're removing this time. They've been taking away things or ignoring features that don't work since I started playing CCFS about 10 months ago. The only feature that they've added since I've been playing is the ability to pick a level to go to .. which has nothing to do with community support. The ability to send PMs was a 'reward' for reaching level 2 in the community, but no longer, it seems.

@Erika0811 @sharkeymw - I am so happy you are speaking on behalf of community members who are voiceless. It makes no practical sense to me to use a platform outside the community to discuss issues relating to matters we faced in the community.
