Nice to meet you. You will get a much better official welcome, I'm sure. You'll also get a much more helpful answer from one of the moderators, to which you can react with "helpful" below the post. I just wanted to say that the freezing of your game and the ad you are seeing are unrelated to each other, just a coincidence. Not even a correlation imho. But I'm no expert of this game or statistics so someone else with some authority or even just more knowledge than me will no doubt be in touch.
It does happen to me sometimes too, and the only solution seems to be to close the app and re-open it. What device are you playing on? Or do you play via facebook? I don't get any ads - but I play on Windows 11 desktop app. I hate ads.

Hello @jetsch080 and Welcome to our Friendtastic Community! I have had ads freeze on me, too. I have found that I can escape the ad by tapping on my browser's "back" button. Then, I don't need to close the app, but I also don't get the reward from watching the ad.

At the moment I don't have any problems with my game freezing on ads.
But I had these problems sometimes on an older device. This device didn't have as much device and memory.
You need at least 2 GB of free storage and preferably more than 3 GB of RAM.
Please check if your device has enough storage. If not, free up space by deleting files, apps, pictures, etc. that you no longer need and closing all apps in the background (force close all unnecessary apps).Have a Friendtastic day. 🔍️

Started today with this ad freezing my game play. In the beginning for extra booster and when selecting extra boosters to finish a game.

Hello @slaughtercasa. I have had ads freeze on me, too. I have found that I can escape the ad by tapping on my browser's "back" button. Then, I don't need to close the app, but I also don't get the reward from watching the ad.
I noticed that you have previously reported freezing with a different ad. I assume you have tried our standard troubleshooting tips.
- Restart: Force close all open apps and restart your device. Leave it switched off for at least 10 seconds, then turn it on again.
- Updates: Check the app stores to update to the latest version of your game if needed, and the latest software update for your device.
- Memory: Do you have sufficient memory on your device? We recommend having at least 2GB free. If you have less than this be sure to free up some memory to enable the game to run as smoothly as possible. You can free up space by clearing the cache in your game and on your device. Do NOT clear your game data -- that is where your boosters are stored.
