Buttons for buying gold and asking friends for lives do not work.

Just got Candy Crush jelly on my Android. Can connect to Facebook (sometimes) but cannot ever use the buttons to ask friends for lives or buy gold bars. Buttons are there but just don't work. Any ideas?

Check for updates for your device and all your apps. Do a restart.

If this keeps happening, try to uninstall and reinstall. Make sure to synchronise your progress first ;-)

If that doesn't help, then I wouldn't know what to do. Are you playing on an old device by any chance?

Nope, my phone is a new LG. How do I synchronise my progress before the un-install/install option?
