How can I get my progress back after having to uninstall the game?

I had to uninstall my game and though once I reinstalled it and connected to FB that all would be saved.  I lost lives, gold bars, and power ups.  How can I get those back?

The lives and boosters will be lost. This was confirmed by the moderators here:

For the gold bars, just go into the settings and in the menu you will see a button for 'restore purchases' so press this and any gold that you have bought will be added back to your game.
