Whenever I lose a level I am stuck at, all my lives are gone and timer resets

I am playing Candy Crush Jelly Saga on Facebook and whenever I fail a level all my lives are lost and the timer resets. For example, when I start a level, if my lives are 3 and the time to next life is, say, 12 minutes, after I fail the level once, when I click Retry, I see my lives are reduced to 0 and the timer is set to 30:00. Any solutions?

I've never seen anything like that before. Have you changed the clock on your device at all?
