Hi! Me again. I play candy crush jelly on facebook (desktop) I am having the same issue - to get to a new level. I have 2 friends that help me and when I try to buy my way for third it keeps coming up that it won't accept my Gold bars and the count-down clock keeps saying 3 days. I had the same issue at level 41 and someone had to manually override because of a glitch. Any chance of that happening again?

Are you playing the Windows10 app version or does this happen on Facebook?
You could try to switch between the two formats to see if it work better on the other version.
