Why don't I have fishing contest in candy crush jelly saga ?

I have a friend who have fishing contest in her game, she play and get many boosters. I don't have it, and I have updated fully, but I haven't had it yet. Is it a functionality which is being tested ? And should I reinstall this app to get it?

Hi Minh, thanks for posting on King care and I am sorry that nobody has replied until I popped up. 

You are correct in what you assumed. Sometimes these events do pop up for other players but not everyone. It is down to testing and you are either in the group or not. It doesn't always stay like that though and there is a chance you have had it since or may have it in the future
