Help! Messages Disappearing!

I need to understand why my messages are disappearing. I play on FB and It says I have 5 messages and then when I click on it, they are gone. :-(

Can someone please help?

    I am having this issue as well and I am playing it on my mobile device app. It shows I have messages but none show up when I click on the envelope. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Check your app and device have been updated and the app and browser cache are cleared :0)
