Frozen Swipes in Jelly Saga

A level stopped allowing me to make swipes. I can still interact with the menu for sound, music, and to bring up the quit game option, but the suggested move feature stopped working and I can't select any in-level boosters either.
I recorded a video of the screen, I can upload it to you YouTube and provide a link if necessary, but the only thing I can do is back out of the level and lose boosters+lives.
