This what you describe is a well known memory issue on Royal Championship!
It happens when your device has not enough memory to load your opponent's picture and name, or if there is connection problem between the two opponents being in two different locations in the world and the game servers.
This problem can have two results:
If it happens on different devices, it is a general communication issue between the opponents and game's servers, as I described before and not local device issue! π

I play R.C. for 2 years and I had this issue several times, so I know what I say! At least this is not a real issue and does not affect the game between the two opponents, or anything else! It exists and it is as is! That's all!

One is less than a yr old with a lot of memory and the other is just for this game when I'm charging my device It no longer allows me to combine FB and King either. I've done everything I was told to do and still nothing. So if I see myself as an opponent does my actual opponent see the same thing

1 · Helpful Woah! 1Sweet Love HahaIt is not necessary a problem related to the device, but mostly a network "loss" that allows a minimum of traffic between the two opponents.
Responsible could be network capacity or other local issues on one of the two edges of the connection! Our opponent can see everything as normal, or both can have this problem! I have noticed sometimes that opponent's real pic appears at the final screen after the match!

I just played against myself once again as well. The real me won! What was strange about it though, I had just cleared my cache. The real me on the left, and as you know this is the Arena that I don't like the most! But a win is a win! I wonder was the other me upset??

As I mentioned in my previous post, this issue is not necessary to be related to your device!
As you said you cleared your cache! So it is probably a connection issue that not allowes your opponent's pic and name to be loaded! π
