Been two days now with just background but no game loading

I'm sorry you're affected too. As of today, however, the problem should be fixed.
First, try to update your Brwoser several times. If that doesn't help, please try the default troubleshooting: clear your browser cache, log out of Facebook, close your browser, and turn off your device for a minute. Log back in to Facebook after restarting your device and browser. GGf. You have to reload the browser several times.
