Game Progress Advances without playing levels
Every time I start a new portion of my game, the app advances me to the next saga, even though I may have only completed two levels before running out of lives. For instance, I had just made it to the Fantastic Forest and successfully completed level 2033, but ran out of lives. When I came back to the game when my lives were refilled, I was automatically advanced to level 2046 in the Chocolate Mountain. I only receive one star for the levels I have not actually completed, but am credited with finishing the course, so I get prizes and rewards like the gold bars for the race, etc. But I don’t get my build a bot boosters and things. How can I fix this?

You happen to have posted in Candy Crush Jelly saga support forum but don't worry hopefully your discussion will be moved in CCS forum @Crazy Cat Lad
You'll probably need to contact Player Support directly from your game (if you play on app: open game, tap settings icon, tap "?" mark, search for "My game progress", scroll down to "contact us") so they can check your account because something weird is happening with your progress.

I think their team is still testing this new event that means it's still not complete to be fixed to everyone mostly.
So have you updated the latest version of this game and use stable Internet Connection? 🤔

What you mention is a really strange behavior...is it happening in Candy Crush Jelly Saga? If, as Pitty_Kitty says, it refers to Candy Crush Saga, I'll move it to that Community.
The second question would be- do you play on one device only? And are you the only one to play on that device?
