When you talk about hints, you mean the suggested by the game "next move"?
As @NamTruong2001 mentioned above, there is no way to turn it off, but, on the other hand, I don't find it annoying and also it helps, especially in R.C. where there is a time limit to make the moves! Also I find it very useful on main board, because there are some boards with many blockers, transparent Jelly cubes, candyvores etc, where sometimes it is very difficult to find a match!
At least it is my personal opinion! 😉

Yes, you have the option to turn hints off in Saga and Friends! I actually never found this option, because I don't find this feature annoying! And of course I do not rely on them, but, as I said, sometimes it helps!
Anyway, the fact is that in Jelly there is not an option to turn it off!
However, you can open an idea in Ideas area about this you want! You can describe your idea and ask from players to vote about it! 😀
First, take a look there, if this idea already exists! 😉
