Hi @Nikolaos_Prodromidis @Nadia1770 & @NatalieG
Awesome to read this conversation & tip exchange! Love talking strategy! You guyz are Champions!
I like to colour my own side of the board with Jelly first also. Leaving the "Grey" - Middle Zone for last minute tiles to cover. (Love how you've described that Natalie & really cool how you checked for one first & now we have this one open for it. Top Form!! π₯°)
To help that strategy work better for me, I avoid making fish combo's until the last 2- 4 moves, as I feel they more likely to go to the opponents Green Jelly Tiles that way. Usually most Blockers have been removed by then also.
Depends on which board it is also. I like boards with the Liquorice Links & Liquorice Swirls more than the Cupcake Blockers.
Before I came to this community I used the Lollipop Hammer & the Wrapped Candy Hammer to make sure I passed the 3rd chest & then repeated that for the next red chest. Now though, after reading some great Strategy Questions from @ClarenceBeaks (yes my favourite board - removing that one special blocker) & some other helpful conversations on Blocker & Special Candy placements, I play a little differently (& not as often π)
In my game I've seen some players opting for the Striped Lollipop Hammer & the Liquorice Swirl. I guess they must be trying to reach the chest at the same time. For a long time now I've just been using the the Lollipop Hammer & the Liquorice Cage. It's not too bad & I'm definitely not as focused on winning every match. Just like to be in the top 5 :O)
I also use the Liquorice cage now too, as it is part of strategy when you use it to block an opponents Candy, that could make them a Special Combo match.

Hi @Lady_Sarina, @NatalieG and @Nadia1770!
Here is a classic "Grey Zone" case π
The result was this:

I FEEL you!!! That frustrates me every time!! And to be honest with you, it makes me feel better that it's not just happening to me. I am not trying to be too ππ in saying that either, because if you're anything like me, it p*ss's me off. (Hope I can say that here, not trying to use inappropriate language). It seems like you win one, lose two or three and the cycle repeats itself. There are times when it seems like forever I am stuck on the first level, because of an accidental move I've made in Grey Zone.

Thanks for the tips! My favorite board has become the one @ClarenceBeaks Spoke about as well. Every time I play that Arena, no sooner I get a hammer, that's the first move I make. I generally use the pink lollipop and a regular cage to play. I try not to use the powerful lollipop or the wrapped lollipop, but a lot of my opponents use them. And usually when I do, when I am trying for a five or seven streak, I still end up losing my streak. If that happens the first time, I don't even try it on the second try, I use what got me to "the dance" the pink lollipop and regular cage.

I forgot to add this to my reply to you. One of the reasons I don't use the powerful hammers because we can't buy boosters and blockers like we used to.
Please, please, please ππΎ ππΎππΎ, ask to bring back that option back. I promise I will spend plenty of money buying gold bars to purchase them!!!!

Hi again!
The middle play area has a special and "effective" presence on Arena 3!
Playing today on this Arena I realized how "challenging" the RC have been! π
Starting with the two basic boosters, after some rounds, I am back on score, but I have a coloring candy...
Usi g it situation changes dramatically! Is this score safe?
Not on Arena 3, it is very possible to have surprises:
After my opponent's moves, situation changes!
Tried a little for a balanced score:
The final result:

Don't you just cringe when that happens? And usually your opponent benefits from your 'accident". Sometimes it's the other way around, but most of the time, your opponent is the one who benefits the most! π€¨π€¨π€¨
