Saint Patrick of Ireland, Archbishop of Armagh
Who was Saint Patrick?
His real name was Maewyn Succat and he was not Irish either, since he was born in the year 387 in Beenhaven Taberniae, Roman province of Britain and present-day Scotland. He was the son of Calpurnius, a Christian deacon who also held an important civil position, and he did not arrive in Ireland until he was kidnapped as a teenager by pirates, who forced him to work as a slave herding animals for six years. After managing to escape from his captors, he went to France where he felt a divine call and focused his life on becoming a priest and Christian missionary to take his faith to other places.
Being Argentina the sister country.
