A friends button would be great.
I don't think that any button like this could be functionable!
In my opinion, friends is not the most important in the game! I understand that players ask for friends to give them more lives! Why don't they ask for more than 5 lives when the game starts? It is easier!!

It would be nice to have a button, but sorry at this time we do not have a way to add personal friends unless you are playing thru Facebook. The friends you will see are added randomly via King and it seems the more you play, the more you get, which means more lives.💕
