The screenshot you've shared shows your current position in the Mastery Rank, not your level in the game.
Regarding the "The More The Merrier" popup, it's possible you haven't linked your King and Facebook accounts yet. To fix this, after creating a King account, log into the game via Facebook. Then, log out, and you should receive the popup with an option to add your Facebook friends. However, keep in mind if your friend hasn't logged into the game with their Facebook account in the last 90 days, the game access to the FB account will automatically expire, which may explain why they're not appearing in your friends list.

Can i get detail on how to link my account? Iโm not sure what I need to do where and how.

Go to the top of the screen and click on your picture
Once you click that you will see this
Click on your name like the highlight shows above
Then you will go to a screen that looks like this
Once your on this page go down to where it says link your community and game account for quick help like below
Make sure you mark yes then your account will be linked all done ๐ค
