Allen's Journey resets frequently

On a regular basis I find Allen has been reset even though I've not lost a level.

That feature changed the mechanism very long time. You can no longer store your current Allen's balloons even you quit the game. [Link]

The same thing keeps happening; I complete levels and they disappear when I open the app another day.
