Jelly Queen's Fall From Grace

Jelly Queen thought of herself as the Queen of the whole Jelly Saga world. In her opinion fellow Cupcake Carl and Licorice Larry didn't deserve the title "boss". They were merely animal keepers, in charge of Pufflers and Monkeling which were her subjects.

Jelly was her absolute domain. She was the master of spread the jelly levels. Her technique was simply unparalleled. "Boss" was just too plebeian of title for her. She liked to win and show off her superiority with a jelly dance, a skill she was very proud of and made her happy.

All in Jelly Queen's reign went well and according to her liking. Until it did not anymore. After some time, players became very good at beating her. Her victories became less and less and so did the occasions to dance. This of course made her upset but she became furious when she saw that players were frequently able to spread jelly more efficiently and beautifully than she ever could and win the board after matching a color bomb and a coloring candy. And this with just one move! On her domain! How humiliating for a Queen! And it was worse! This never happened so often to those commoners Carl and Larry. The players had to struggle more against them.

Jelly Queen's ego hurt, on top of that she couldn't let her subjects think she was easy to beat otherwise her reign would have been at risk. Already rumours were travelling. Thanks to two striped fish that finally relented, she found out the culprit of this catastrophe was a certain Allen and his balloons. What was he and when did he come? How could that alien creature do whaterver he wanted on her queendom without asking for her permission? And most importantly, why nobody told her immediately? Everyone was obliged to refer to her. However, this wasn't the time for questions. Allen wasn't easy to locate but when she did, she tried to make him fall and bend the knee.

Allen didn't understand what was happening, he lowered himself and tried to communicate but he realized soon enough that this violent display wasn't going to end.

Indeed, persuasion or even basic communication were never Jelly Queen's elements. But as it turns out, hers, the jelly, wasn't even very effective airborne and so she couldn't catch him after many desperate attempts. When she saw him finally flee she started to fuming so hard because of the frustration and rage that she popped some jelly vessels and risked melting. She realized she had to calm down but she was having a hard time doing so. She also realized quite the audience gathered to watch the show. An audience made of subjects that didn't even try to help her in her quest to stop the alien invasion and failed to notify her of his arrival in the first place. The disrespect was too much to bear. She yelled this to her subjects and then, thinking she was teaching them a lesson, she picked the two striped fish, the very same of before, and she glued them on her fan to adorn it. She was pretty satisfied with the result, while calming herself she started to imagine how good they would look when she danced. Why had she not think of this sooner, after all, striped fish are made of jell-

That was the final straw for all the people under her reign. They could put up with Jelly Queen's fickle and generally bad behavior because she was bearable when she was happy after a victory. She was actually pretty great when she entertained them with her dances. But now the times have changed and clearly the sacrifice of two fish could not be overlooked.

The uproar the crime caused was so big that Jelly Queen couldn't do anything when her subjects decided to banish her from her reign. She was actually too shocked to her jelly core by the reaction of everybody. It was too late when she asked Carl and Larry for help. Not that they would help her.

Jelly Queen was sent to Cloud Kingdom where she now atones for her mistakes, as part of her community service. Her task is assisting players, instead of playing against them. She lost her queendom, much to her displeasure, but she still gets to do what she loves in her new job: dance. (Which makes her happy and everybody as a result).

Of course, she also uses her fan as a reminder of her fall from grace.
