  • I succeeded on my first try at the Day 11 of Sunny Tales (Week 2, Day 4 with Nutcracker) without having any boosters or using any lollipop hammers. Since I still had 3 moves left after dunking the 3 cookies, I would consider this a success. Note to other players: I was surprised at how the cookies slid around some of the…
  • Another example of the Suggested Move Algorithm ignoring the potential destructive power of the Coloring Candy combined with a wrapped candy: And a case where the Suggested Move was a very weak “combine Red an Yellow Fish, which would have just created 3 non-jam Fish, compared to moving the Red Striped candy up onto the…
  • @AkumaXX I think you win today! My partner failed on all 3 attempts. I succeeded on my first attempt, BUT I had a Friendly Charge booster and still had to use 2 Lollipop Hammers and watch the ad video for +4 moves at the end. So I was either unlucky, I played poorly, or Level 9 was quite difficult! Cheers!
  • How are all of you doing on Level 10 of Sunny Tales? We found Level 10 to be quite difficult. My partner failed in her 3 attempts today. Although I (barely) completed Level 10 on my first attempt, I had a Friendly Charge booster, I used 1 plain and 1 striped Lollipop Hammers during the game, AND I still had to watch the ad…
  • If my records are correct, my data indicate that the automatic deletion of Dachs Delivery Service team members is probably being done based on activity in TRYING to progress in CCFS rather than actual progress in CCFS levels: On my team, Team Members X and Y were at the same CCFS level from May 7 to June 28, and Team…
  • Well, Day 9 of Sunny Tales with Nutcracker was more difficult for me: I could not complete it with the normal number of moves and had to watch the ad video for +4 moves and use 3 of those moves to successfully complete it. My partner finished Level 9 without using extra moves and she thought it was relatively easy, so…
  • @Brigdeez This site has a mail system, but you have to first make a few posts or comments to be able to use it. Meanwhile, why don’t you just list the 2-4 most pressing questions you have now, and I’ll try to answer them? The reason I started this discussion thread was that I could NOT find any guidance on basic CCFS…
  • @gr33n3y3z , Here are 3 annotated screenshots about Yeti placing the Cyan wrapped candy in some useless place rather than next to a special candy like a fish or a striped candy. These examples happened to me using Yeti this morning on level 4430. yeti did not always malfunction in this way, but it was happening on average…
  • I had good luck on my first attempt at Level 8 with Nutcracker, so after creating a Color Bomb and combining it with a Red Fish to spread the jam, I was able to finish with 9 moves to spare. Cheers, all!
  • I was fortunate today that I saw how to make a Color Bomb and then a fish next to it.… The resulting 11 Red Fish spread the jam well enough that I could finish with 9 moves to spare. Cheers!
  • To make Color Bombs or Colors Candies often requires “looking ahead” for a couple moves to see if the correct pattern for a Color Bomb or Coloring Candy can be created. (The Suggested Move algorithm does not do “look ahead”, so this is one way you can find better moves than the suggested ones.) In this example from Level 8…
  • @DieOmimi I also thank you for this information as knowing when DDS will re-start helps me decide whether to progress or stay in place in the meantime.
  • Next week in Sunny Tales, we will get Rachel the raccoon, so now is the time to practice using Rachel! After matching 12 Green Candies, Rachel throws a rainbow-colored square candy on the grid. You can combine the rainbow candy with any unblocked candy above it, below it, to the left of it, or to the right of it. IF there…
  • @Pitty_Kitty @gr33n3y3z My partner and I have both recall the same Yeti “throw the cyan wrapped candy “ into unusable places rather than next to a fish, striped, or other wrapped candy situation, but I do not have the screenshot to prove it. We concluded that there is a “difficulty parameter” where Yeti throws the wrapped…
  • @Tzvi_Marcu I and my partner have played CCFS for about 3 years (she also plays CCS but I do not). In CCFS, I am waiting at Level 4425 for Dachs Delivery Service to begin again, but she has progressed almost to the end-of-the-road for IOS devices, which is now Level 4460. For Dachs Delivery Service , she leads team…
  • @Grumpy_Old_Man What would you recommend/suggest to help newer players learn to evaluate the grid and find more effective moves? I was thinking of something like: “The algorithm works top-down and stops at the first acceptable match in the playing grid, so you should carefully examine the playing grid from the bottom up to…
  • My partner completed Level 7 of Sunny Tales with 14 moves to spare, but she did have the Friendly Coloring Candy booster. With no boosters, I did still finish Level 7 on my first attempt, but with only 3 moves to spare: @chris64lu I just today got a repeat of the “Beach Race” event but my partner, also playing on an IPad…
  • I have noticed like @Pitty_Kitty that the “suggested move” algorithm does NOT handle Color Bombs or Coloring Candies very well. I captured 2 examples of that this morning. The first was a screen where the Suggested Move was to combine the purple Coloring Candy with a Blue fish, which would have created 13 fish. But…
  • @AkumaXX Thank you for the information! I only have the original “free” Piggy Bank, which is limited to 30 Gold Bars. But what has been happening to me when I win more Gold Bars is that I now have a separate icon that says “+175 Gold Bars” that appears to the right of the Piggy Bank. I accidentally used some Gold Bars…
  • @ElenaVorona and others: Except for that odd 1-day setup and then immediate withdrawal of Dachs Delivery Service sometime in March-April, the starting and ending days for DDS that I have in my records for my team are: February 12-February 21 March 5-March 18 March 26-April 4 April16-April 25 May 7-May 16 May 28-June 6 June…
