Re: What's the strategy for consistently hitting 1000 blues during All Stars?
I blame myself for not using the multipliers earlier and in all honesty I had started to slow down due to tiredness (slept awfully the day before), but if I had been close adrenaline may have carried me through. I was still a bit annoyed that the time changes had moved 1 hour from star tournament to new levels too that I knew would cost me scoring in the last hour.
I felt the scoring in our board was at the upper reaches of reasonableness and was consistent, hovering around the 9500-10500 an hour, so wasn’t massive bursts of high scoring as described in this post.
I recorded my hourly scores against a benchmark of 9000 points an hour where I could and excluding when I used a multiplier (extra boosters etc), I was averaging just over 9200, with a high of 10433 and a low of 7654 (had to change tactic to ensure I was at the right place in the cycle for daily stamps reset). I am guessing the 10433 may have been a slightly longer hour due to timing of when I finished a level (so 61-62 mins) and was probably repeating a good part of the cycle, as next highest was 9932. At the point I quit I was averaging 9600 an hour thanks to X2 multiplier boost, so with an extra 4 of these would have been nearer 500k if played for the full 24 hrs.
The luck of the draw was the biggest factor as the difference between highest and lowest boards was exacerbated by the multipliers and was a lot higher percentage difference than previous years. On the lowest 3 boards, I in theory would have been able to win with either only 4 multipliers or in less than 12 hours of playing had I played all 6, which is ridiculous.
Who knows about 2027 as rules will likely change and you never know how much worse it can get 😂
Re: What's the strategy for consistently hitting 1000 blues during All Stars?
I would like to make a late addition to this discussion @Selodio. (I am the "frog" by the way that michimune was referring to)
If you tracked a player and know they repeatedly scored 10K during their 30 minute multiplier use then this person must have had the game open at the one high scoring Star Tournament level mentioned by @Nobody1 on several devices simultaneously and collected the maximum possible amount of blue by means that are strictly forbidden according to the Terms and Contract conditions.
One alternative explanation for your findings could be that the app did not display the other players' scores in real time, which is something we observed during the earlier rounds ( a time shift/ VCR type mechanism I noted previously). It could be that the other player appeared to score more rapidly than they actually did in their own game, because there was a delay in how the app showed the scoring of other players in your game.
All of my testing has repeatedly shown that the top score per hour must be around 10,000 blue if playing without a multiplier. The AI that runs the app controls the maximum possible score now, I am sure of that, so the expectation is that any player who scores above the highest possible score the app has calculated will be eliminated at vetting. I think this is probably done by the AI now and I do not expect any player who scored higher than 510K to make it to the live finals.
I am so, so sorry you felt you had to give up so early @sweetcandyline. I blame myself for not having warned you to ignore any leader that runs away with it. Unfortunately the multipliers have blurred what is possible and what is obvious cheating in 2026. I knew you were capable of scoring much higher than myself, and I could have got to 420K had I played the entire 24 hours. I was mortified when I read you had given up and wasted those tokens. I just don't know what to say. I am so sorry I didn't warn you not to look at the leader. You could have won this.
Maybe in 2027…..
