Thanks for appreciating; kinda feeling sad nobody is commenting on my separate post.

The top opponent scored over 20k over only 15 levels. He also scored another 15k over another 15 levels.

The lower half of the leaderboard barely moved; the cutoff moved from 2392 to 2475.

I should expect to finish at a score of 16000 provided I complete the other two cupcake quests and the cooldown boxes. I also expect to receive a Double Candy Royale.

You must be tired after all that crushing!

Please keep us updated on how your leaderboard finishes, it's very interesting. I'd be interested to hear if you do see any players "hexing" their way into the qualifiers in the last few hours. So far I have not seen this happen in the qualifiers and I would not be surprised if it didn't happen this time either.

I also started the round, with a newbie account currently at around level 560.

Only Ellie used a token so far in this leaderboard. We started playing three hours into the competition. I don't get the impressions there is much activity or drive to win this group. I'm trying to earn some more gold to fill up the stores for later rounds and otherwise am finding it a bit boring.

Tournament standings as of 13:30, 15:10, 17:45, and 00:45 EDT. I was kept up all night because that day was unusually lucky.

Preliminaries

I received a rather awkwardly timed single Candy Royale on the Monday after scoring third in the Qualifiers and first in the Weekly Contest. Not sure if I should go for it, or defer until the start of the this phase, I decided to go for it, but on Tuesday, because if I do go for it, I should receive an Elite Challenge Candy Royale on Saturday, along with a Double Colour Bomb for that day. I also kept the Weekly Race awards on standby, so I can continue winning levels while not claiming the awards right away by exiting the app every time I returned to the map and received my golden crowns.

Tournament

I have completed Episode 301, have 3111 Gold, four Party Boosters, and a full set of UFO boosters (excluding those from the Weekly Contest and Season Pass). Once again, I will divide my playthrough into five parts. This is the first part.

Sitting 1 — 13:05 EDT

I entered the tournament at 13:05 EDT to complete one episode (Episode 302). This episode took 25 minutes to complete. As expected, I completed every level with a golden crown, scored first in the episode race, and made progress in the dreaded collect blue candies from new level wins objective. I easily positioned myself to be first, at 2314 candies.

Sitting 2 — 23:00 EDT

I fell from first to sixth (no screenshots). Awkwardly lucky day, in two ways!

Landed on a 15m UFO pass from the booster wheel (with one hour to spare), meaning that this is an "extra episode" day! Leveraged the UFO pass to complete Episode 303, but still couldn't complete the entire episode with the UFO pass alone. After completing the second task, which is collecting blue candies from new level wins, I received favorable tasks for the remaining chocolates and correctly timed the 6 lollipop objectives to the Weekly Contest award. The UFO pass is why there are no screenshots at the start of the second sitting.

Received a new non-Elite chocolate box immediately after. I received a favorable second task, that is collecting purple candies from any level wins. I have to rush a bit, or sacrifice the Weekly Contest award. The third task was favorable. The fourth task, oh my, I have to use two Party Boosters. That means, I have to move forward, and somehow perform failure management to progress on the gold box. I progressed through two episodes (namely Episode 303, 304) before I have to use the two Party Boosters.

Then, I received another non-Elite chocolate box, after midnight. The second task was again favorable, that is, collecting purple candies from any level wins. Don't need to rush this time, as I haven't started Episode 305. The third was favorable. The fourth, oh I have to collect Goodie Bags (that is the same as winning unplayed levels) though I have one more reroll. Hopefully I don't get another Party Booster objective…

End Phase

I end my day after I landed on a 22 Goodie Bags collection task with one reroll to spare, and with my 1h Colour Bomb pass obtained via the Daily Treat Machine expiring.

Unfortunately, someone hexed his way to the first position, meaning that I will have to forgo the UFO. I will aim to stay at third place, to ensure I won't be knocked down to sixth when more players hex their way to the qualifying zone.

Cohort at the end of Friday. Five episodes were completed so far in this stage. I suspect the lead hexed a second time; nevertheless the evaluation is unchanged unless four or more players from below decided to hex their way back to the qualifying zone.

Moreover, the elimination cutoff inched slightly from 2392 to 2475.

Because I am a strong and effective person, and I want to be among the champions, and my level is good.
