The T&Cs of the game make it clear that King are under no obligation to replace items that you obtained just by playing the game.
On the other hand if you have lost items that you paid money for King is more likely to compensate you in some way if you contact Player Support to complain.

Ridiculous levels at the end of episodes
I posted here a while ago regarding these impossible levels they add during some “events”. I was really relieved when the “nutcracker” levels disappeared - the game finally felt fun and fair again. But now they’re back with these “Time Machine” levels at the end of every episode, and is as completely impossible. These levels don’t feel challenging in a fun or strategic way, but designed to be unwinnable without extra moves or spending gold bars - and then eventually real money. Even with boosters, you’re not even close. I’ve been playing since 2014 and I’m currently on level 11800+, and I’ve never experienced anything like this being forced at the end of every single episode. Difficult levels are fine once in a while, but this is excessive. You’re completely stuck unless you either spend money or just stop playing and wait for the event to disappear. Is this really the direction the game is going in?
So my question is: can you opt out of these levels in any way - or do I just have to stop playing and wait until they disappear again? And how long will the event last this time so I know when I will consider to come back?
