The leader in my league actually played non stop with no 10x for 3 days straight. So everyone getting to the next round prepared yourself the last 3 hours will be brutal.

Okay, I think I might be starting to understand the whole VCR theory a little better, Christine. One big effect that it can have is to protect those of us who are trying to save tokens - I know you were already saying this but I'm slow on the uptake, I guess. I was so worried last night; thanks to everyone for the encouragement, it kept me going. I'm afraid I'm not quite as good as you think I am, Christine, I don't think I could manage 240,000 from where I was last night without spending a large part of my huge inventory, leaving me not enough for stage 6. But I should be able to get close to 200,000, anyway. Perhaps my target is smaller because I started more than 24 hours in? I'm hoping that, so I won't actually need 240,000 to stay relatively safe.

So if I understand right, my scenario would have been this: perhaps we who haven't used a token get earlier protection - maybe they can't see us as we approach? So sure enough, when I woke up this morning (about 3 hours later LOL), no one had made any progress. And since then still very little progress. It's like they don't know I'm there. Very wild. I still fear an onslaught an hour before the end, so I will score as much as I can. I don't feel safe since it's obviously just a theory. I hope I can be lucky enough to keep my tokens.

christinewupp, what is the benefit of not being fully transparent with players about how this tournament actually works? Your responses are not addressing what many of us are actually experiencing, and they don’t match what is happening in real gameplay.

People are investing real time and money into this, and they deserve clear, honest answers—not explanations that leave us confused or feeling misled.

At this point, it doesn’t feel transparent at all. What players are experiencing does not align with what is being communicated here, and if there is more going on with how the system works, it should be clearly stated instead of leaving people in the dark.

I cannot answer that question as I don't have anything to do with King.

King are not a company that is transparent, that is definitely true.

What you think isn’t the issue here. I wasn’t addressing you, so telling me to “chill out” is irrelevant and unhelpful.
Do not tell me how to respond again. If you have something that directly addresses the pattern I described, then say it. If not, step back.
At this point, I’m focused on the issue itself. If you’re not addressing that directly, then there’s nothing further to add here.

I finally made it closer to the top, but alas I don't think I will make the cut. I think I could at most make 175,000-195,000 at the rate of 2-3 episodes/hr I am going. I did full night last night to get where I am at. The top person has been playing since last night also doing one last sprint to stay in front. It's been great doing this tournament, and when they do it next year I will be better prepared.
