That definitely sounds frustrating, so let’s try to figure out what happened.
Just to understand it better, which feature was this reward from? Candy Royale, Episode Race, or something else?
Also, did the game freeze, or did you just get the connection-error pop-up? And if you relaunch the app and check your gold bar balance, does it still look unchanged?
Here in the community, we can’t add or replace missing gold bars, but Player Support can. Once you check those things above, you can reach Support directly through the game app and they’ll be able to look into your account.

Thanks for reaching out, that sounds really stressful.
Just to understand better:
- When you open Candy Crush now, are you back to level 1, or is it just not showing as connected to Facebook anymore?
- Are you playing on mobile (Android / iOS) or Windows?
A couple of things worth checking first:
Make sure you’re using the right Facebook account
Sometimes devices are logged into a different FB profile than the one that had the progress.
- Open the Facebook app / website and check which account is logged in
- Then open Candy Crush → Settings → “Connect” / “Log in with Facebook” and see if it connects correctly
Check if anyone else has used your device
If someone else logged into their own Facebook on your phone/tablet/PC, the game might now be linked to their account instead. If that’s the case, log them out of Facebook, log back in with your account, then restart the game and try connecting again.
Restart and reconnect
- Close the game completely
- Restart your device
- Open Candy Crush and try connecting to Facebook again from Settings
If after all that you’re still stuck or your progress is gone, then yes, there’s still a chance of recovery. In that case, the next step would be:
Contact Player Support from inside the game
Tell them:
- You lost access to the Facebook account that was linked
- Roughly which level you were on
- Which device you’re playing on no
They can then check your data and see if they can restore your progress to your current device/login.
Reply back here with what you see (level 1 or not, device, etc.) and we can try to narrow it down further 😉
Re: Sending lives
Hi and Welcome to the King Community
To send lives in Candy Crush, you can either go to your profile to see friends and send individually, or go to an old level on the map and send to all friends on that leaderboard. The in-game update has changed the process, so the best way is to check your friends list from the map to find and send lives one by one.

If Facebook isn’t letting you log in on your desktop, that’s unfortunately not something we can fix from the game side. Login issues like that are handled by Facebook themselves.
I’d recommend trying:
• Checking that you’re logged into Facebook in your browser
• Trying a different browser
• Updating the browser or clearing cache
• Checking Facebook’s help center if the problem continues

Hello @FaVour64 I am not sure what you mean by "switching accounts". Did you log out of one account, play a different account and then switch over to the first account? I don't myself play via Facebook, but if I do this on a mobile device using a King Account I find that if I switch accounts boosters may not be retrieved. It's best to play one account per device, because boosters are stored on the device's memory, not at King's servers.

Sorry to hear that. In the case of Phone, your collected booster is stored in phone memory. This stored booster can not be synced with the server, because the game studio still does not have this process.You will not be able to transfer the boosters to another device, you will lose the complete booster for app uninstalling or crashing.
If you play on mobile, then please email Player Support directly from the game.
Go to the game's Start Menu, then Settings - Help Center - Purchases & Gold Bars - Contact us and send them an email.

Sorry but the boosters are stored within the app on the device. So if you uninstall the app they are lost. Your gold balance, progress and events are stored on King's servers and those are retrieved if you log into the game on a new device or after reinstalling the app.

I have the same question! I will ask our manager to investigate if the Weekly Contest is missing intentionally, and if this change is temporary or permanent. I'll let you know when we have an answer to your question.
