I believe the app will make them sleep. The app should remove this person's ever increasing score from everyone else's leaderboard except of course their own. It might be necessary for you to close the app and yourself to stop playing levels to make this happen, I am not sure. It's possible that if you keep crushing yourself this won't work. If my theory is correct the person may still show as "playing" all the time but their score will not increase by much.

Please check the final board on Saturday and post it here @geompak . By my calculations no player should end up on over 240,000 if King are fair to all of us. So I'd like to know if this player does indeed continue to score beyond that mark. Any score of over 300,000 would definitely be a cheater I think.

Update:

My leaderboard has been a bit sporadic, with the early token players dropping out of contention and the more consistent players building up a decent score.

I am currently in the lead by around 60,000 points, but there was a situation yesterday where another Star Tournament player used a token to get up to 3rd and made about 30-40k with it(them). Not sure if they have retained more to use later on or have just utilised their final ones.

I am concerned that the players who have not yet used tokens are the more serious players and will wait as long as possible before utilising tokens. These sort of players could easily make up 60,000 in an hour so I would want to be at least 100k ahead before I go to sleep tonight. I feel this round is most susceptible to the late token use.

Based on my current expectations, I would expect to finish on around 270,000 for this round, which I am hoping should be sufficient enough without needing to use any tokens myself. I could in theory have scored more but didn't want to fall foul of anti-cheating detection rules by having even fewer breaks etc than I currently have.

@Nobody1 It is quite possible that VCR or bespoke leaderboards are not applied to end of map or Star Tournament players, so that might explain why you are not seeing what I see. I think the app calculates possible scores per episode, and this may be impossible to compute for star tournament players.

Whilst speed crushing a perfect episode just now I noted that my top score could be just over 10,000 per hour. This number may be the basis of the calculation the app makes when slowing our opponents. I do believe and hope that the app will slow down any opponents who exceed an overall score of more than 10,000 blue/hour in any 8hours per day. The app should eliminate any player who scores more than this to allow others who sleep, work or have family and household duties a fair chance to compete. I therefore very much doubt that in a 72 hour round the final scores of your opponents would exceed 240,000. If it does go higher the app is trying to cheat you out of a token, and I would actually write to complain and possibly sue the company in that case. I mean it: Anyone who has not played a token should not see a player win on a score of over 240,000. Bearing this in mind: I know you can do this and beat that score, so get crushing when you wake up!
